Discuss conflict resolution trainingAddress tension before it shapes the team
Conflict can show up as open disagreement, repeated misunderstandings or an issue everyone quietly works around. Avoiding it may leave decisions stalled and relationships strained; rushing into it can make a difficult situation harder.
Training creates space to examine those patterns and practise a more constructive response. The focus is on how people prepare, listen, communicate and stay engaged when the conversation becomes uncomfortable.
Skills to bring into the workplace
Notice your response to conflict
Recognize assumptions, defensiveness and the urge to withdraw or react. Explore how your internal state influences what you hear and how others experience you.
Prepare for a difficult conversation
Clarify the issue, the relationship and what a useful conversation would make possible. Create enough space to consider another perspective without losing sight of your own.
Disagree with clarity and respect
Practise listening, expressing concerns and exploring competing needs. Work toward conversations that allow differences to be addressed, rather than requiring everyone to agree.
The CENTER Method
Centrinsic’s CENTER Method is a practical framework for navigating high-stakes conversations with awareness, intention and choice. It supports attention to yourself, the other person and the larger purpose of the conversation.
The framework is a practice, not a script. Workshops connect it with the human dynamics beneath the visible disagreement and the situations participants bring from their working lives.
Workshops for leaders and teams internationally
Discuss a focused workshop or include conflict skills in a broader leadership development programme. Virtual and in-person formats are available, with timing and arrangements discussed for your audience. Centrinsic is based in Toronto and works internationally.
Rekha Lakra brings experience as a lawyer, mediator, adjudicator and conflict coach. For an event audience, her keynotes on conflict, communication and leadership offer another starting point.
Training, mediation or a course?
Training builds skills people can use in future conversations. Where a specific conflict is already active, a separate conversation about mediation or conflict-resolution support may be appropriate.
The self-paced conflict resolution course is not yet open for purchase. View the course status or ask about a live workshop.
